NCERT Textbooks Reach Millions: Amazon India Expands Educational Access

NCERT textbooks for students from Kindergarten to class 12, as well as for UPSC aspirants will now be available on Amazon India through authorised sellers on its website. The company has partnered with the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) to offer these books at their maximum retail price (MRP) across all serviceable pin codes in India.

In addition to catering to individual customers, Amazon.in will collaborate with NCERT for bulk orders from government agencies and schools. A statement mentioned that NCERT has appointed designated distribution vendors to work with sellers on Amazon. to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan remarked that the partnership between NCERT and Amazon India is a significant step toward providing students and educators with access to genuine, affordable resources. This initiative will not only aid students in their academic pursuits but also improve their overall quality of life. Pradhan added that by making NCERT textbooks available on Amazon.in, millions of students across India will be able to pursue their education more easily and conveniently.
