CBSE Class 10 and 12 Results 2024 Announced: Great Performances in Maths, Painting, Psychology, and Chemistry

CBSE board results for classes 10th and 12th were revealed on Monday, 13 May, and over 11,000 Class 10 students got perfect scores in Mathematics (standard), followed by Sanskrit and Artificial Intelligence, while Class 12 students scored full marks in Painting, then Psychology and Chemistry. 

Figuratively, girls did better than boys across board exams and more students scored above 90 and 95 percent compared to last year. The pass rate for Class 10 went up by 0.48 percentage points, and for Class 12, it increased by 0.65 percentage points. The underlying reason for the same as stated by CBSE officials was that there were more questions focusing on skills in this year's exams than in previous years allowing students to utlise their analytical skills. 

CBSE announced Class 12 results for more than 16 lakh students. The pass rate was 87.98 percent but they didn't declare the toppers list to prevent unhealthy competition. Instead, they provided merit certificates to the top 0.1 percent scorers in each subject.

In the results, more than 24,000 students scored 95 percent and above in all subjects, compared to 22,622 last year with more students scoring above 90 percent. CBSE has put up the results on its website and other platforms including Digilocker and UMANG. If students fail in one or more subjects, they can take compartment exams, guidelines for which will be available on the official website.
