Dhirubhai Ambani International School Tops Rankings for Indian Day Schools with International Curriculum

Cfore is a market research company that specializes in education and they recently conducted the Cfore School Survey 2024, revealing the top 16 schools in India. It assessed the schools based on several categories, including residential co-ed, day girls, day boys, day cum boarding, and day co-ed. These rankings offer a thorough overview of several school kinds, including government-run and international schools. Among these top 16 schools, Dhirubhai Ambani International School has been ranked first in the Indian day schools category that provides an international curriculum. Ascend International School and Oberoi International School are in close second place. The curriculum offered by these is diverse and comprises the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), and Cambridge Assessment International Education.
Based on their ratings out of 1450, Dhirubhai Ambani International School secured first place in this list with a score of 1313. The Oberoi International School in Mumbai secured second place, with a score of 1291. Both Ascend International School and Pathways School in Noida adhere to the IB curriculum and have similar test scores of 1278. With a score of 1269, Pathways School in Gurugram which also offers the IB program secured the fifth position.
KC High International School in Chennai secured sixth place in the list, with a score of 1253, followed by the IGCSE Board Cambridge Curriculum. The Riverside School in Ahmedabad, which offers the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum, and Aditya Birla World Academy, which offers the IBDP curriculum, both had scores of 1242. With scores of 1227, Jamnabai International School and The Gaudium School in Hyderabad tied for seventh place; the former came in after the CISCE board and IB.
Bombay International School and Ecole Mondiale World School secured eighth place with a score of 1222, both these schools offer IGCSE, IBDP, and IB programs. Completing the list, Tridha in Mumbai with a Steiner curriculum received a score of 1219, while the IB and Cambridge Assessment International Education curricula were offered at Gems Modern Academy in Kochi and Podar International School in Mumbai, which both received a score of 1218.
The Cfore School Survey 2024 was conducted between March and July 2024, involving a perceptual survey across 92 cities and engaging 41,257 participants, including parents, teachers, principals, educationists, and students from grades 10-12. The survey utilized a weighted scoring system based on insights gathered from an initial stakeholder survey. Key parameters evaluated included Teacher Competence & Relationship (150 points), Pedagogy & Curriculum Relevance (150 points), Leadership/Governance (125 points), and Sports (100 points). In addition to these, factors such as infrastructure, academic standards, and social inclusivity were assessed, resulting in a comprehensive evaluation of school quality across India.
