IIT Kanpur Hosts Groundbreaking E-Summit'24, Fostering Entrepreneurial Excellence

E-Summit'24: Celebrating the Spirit of Entrepreneurship at IIT Kanpur

In a dynamic convergence of innovation and entrepreneurial spirit, the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) proudly hosted E-Summit'24, organised by the Entrepreneurship Cell from January 17 to 19. This highly anticipated event, themed ‘Reflections of Resilience,’ brought together a diverse group of innovators, entrepreneurs, and visionaries, all united by their shared commitment to overcoming challenges and achieving success in the competitive business world. The summit served as a vibrant platform for exchanging ideas, fostering collaboration, and celebrating the unbeatable spirit of resilience that drives the entrepreneurial journey.

E-Summit’24 was organized in collaboration with several partners, including the Directorate of Industries & Enterprise Promotion, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, SIIC, Kotak School of Sustainability, C3i Hub, PW School of Startups, Aditya Birla Ventures, Canara Bank, Trential, and SBI. The event featured a variety of keynote sessions, panel discussions, competitions, and workshops. Speakers included notable leaders such as Aman Gupta, Co-founder of boAt, and Sandeep Jain, Founder of GeeksforGeeks, who shared valuable insights on scaling businesses and the future of technology. The Top Table Talk featured entrepreneurs like Naveen Tiwari of Scrabble discussing leadership trends. The Shevolution Summit, with Vidita Kochar, Shruti Chaturvedi, and Aarti Gupta, focused on women-led innovations. The Content Creator’s Conclave, featuring Tharun Nair, Ishaan Sharma, and Amresh Bharti, explored the intersection of content creation and entrepreneurship.

E-Summit’24 hosted competitions like Be an Angel, Sell your Sole, and UpStart Campus, along with workshops on topics such as Google’s “From Idea to Impact” and Microsoft’s “Product Development in the Era of AI.” Sessions covered content creation, digital marketing, and stock trading, promoting innovation and skill development. The summit concluded with a closing ceremony featuring Aman Gupta.
