The institution excels in Medicine, Law, Humanities, and Natural Sciences, and provides language support, visa assistance, and orientation programmes for international students.

Humboldt University of Berlin is another prestigious institution offering tuition-free undergraduate programmes. While some master’s programmes, such as the LL.M., may carry additional fees, all students pay a semester fee of about €315. The university is recognised for its strengths in Law, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Life Sciences, and offers comprehensive cultural and academic support.

In North Rhine-Westphalia, the University of Bonn is celebrated for its research achievements in Mathematics, Physics, and Philosophy. It charges no tuition for most programmes, with a semester fee of €345.07 that includes public transport and services. International students benefit from assistance with accommodation, visa procedures, and integration through its International Office. Lastly, the University of Duisburg-Essen, though younger, has rapidly gained a reputation for its interdisciplinary focus. It is particularly noted for Environmental Sciences, Engineering, and Social Sciences. Most of its programmes are tuition-free, with a semester fee of €319.11 for public transport and student services. Germany remains a top choice for international students due to its cost-effective education, strong academic infrastructure, cultural diversity, and wide-ranging student support, offering a high-quality and globally connected university experience.
