IIT Delhi Welcomes Haryana Educators for Advanced Teaching Exposure

State Teachers Gain Insights at IIT Delhi During Faculty Exposure Programme

On the 10th and 11th of February 2025, IIT Delhi welcomed a group of 170 teachers from various technical institutions across Haryana as part of the state government's 'Faculty Exposure Visit' programme. Launched by Haryana’s Education Minister, Shri Mahipal Dhandha, this initiative provides teachers with invaluable exposure to advanced educational methodologies, cutting-edge research, and state-of-the-art facilities.

The visits, organized by the Academic Office at IIT Delhi, allowed the teachers to explore state-of-the-art laboratories and participate in interactive sessions with distinguished faculty members from various departments of the Institute. On the first day, 65 faculty members specializing in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Instrumentation & Control visited the laboratories in the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Delhi. On the second day, two groups of teachers visited the Computer Science and Engineering and Chemical Engineering departments.

Teachers were also introduced to the training and placement activities at IIT Delhi, facilitated by the Office of Career Services. These visits were part of IIT Delhi’s broader effort to engage with the larger community. Faculty exposure visits are essential for fostering continuous professional development, enabling educators to exchange ideas, learn best practices, and stay updated with the latest advancements in their fields.
