The Memorandum of Understanding for the initiative was signed on August 3, 2024, in Kolkata and will provide advanced training and research opportunities for Indian pediatricians at Oxford, to improve clinical skills and incorporate global best practices into Indian pediatric care. It is designed for physicians and healthcare professionals who want to expand their knowledge, hone their abilities, and contribute to the growing field of pediatric care. Participants will benefit from Oxford's world-class resources and professors, as well as IAP's practical knowledge and experience dealing with the special problems that pediatric practitioners encounter. The initiative aims to fill gaps in pediatric education, foster innovation, and promote best practices that can be applied in a variety of healthcare settings.

Dr. Rajiv Bahl, President of the IAP, stated that this collaboration will greatly improve pediatric care quality by providing world-class training and resources, fostering new practices, and increasing patient outcomes.
