IIM-Raipur Introduces Comprehensive MDPs to Support Professional Development and Innovation

Six Short-Term MDPs Announced by IIM-Raipur for Career and Organisational Advancement

It is crucial to focus on employees' career growth to expedite the growth of a company. Harvard Business Review revealed that more experienced and skilled employees can increase 50% revenue for the company. Aiming this, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur is introducing six new Management Development Programs (MDPs) from September 20 to  October 23. These programs will cover a wide range of subjects such as management, public-private partnerships, business analytics, healthcare management, financial risk management, funding, and project appraisal. The courses will also cover technology management and innovation in the context of strategic management.

The MDPs are designed to enable working professionals to grow within their organizations and elevate their careers. The director of IIM Raipur, Prof. Ram Kumar Kakani, stressed that the university is dedicated to providing life-changing educational opportunities that support growth on both a personal and professional level. These MDPs are intended to support high-impact leadership and demonstrate the institute's commitment to developing contemporary business leaders.

The course schedule includes three different domains, The first is the General Management domain which will cover Healthcare Management, scheduled from September 20-22, Business Analytics from September 27-29, and Public-Private Partnership from October 3-5. In the finance domain, the programs will cover Project Appraisal, Financing, and Project Management from September 25-27, as well as Financial Risk Management from October 21-23. Additionally, the Strategic Management course will focus on Innovation & Technology Management, running from September 25-27.

These programs have been developed to address the evolving needs of professionals in today’s dynamic business environment. According to an IIM Raipur statement, the MDPs are designed to provide participants with practical insights, advanced strategies, and contemporary tools needed to effectively navigate the challenges of the modern workplace.
