Graduate with Dual Degrees in Eco-Friendly Manufacturing from India and Poland

New Dual Degree in Digital Production for Sustainable Manufacturing Starts March 2025

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IP University) has announced a dual degree MSc programme in Digital Production for Sustainable Manufacturing, in collaboration with the University of Krakow, Poland, starting in March 2025. The four-semester programme will begin with two semesters at AGH University of Krakow from March-June and October-January, followed by one semester at IP University from January-April, and conclude with an internship at IP University from May-July.

The programme fee will be similar to the MBA programme at IP University, and upon completion, students will receive separate degrees from both universities. The eligibility criteria for the programme require candidates to have a graduate degree in any discipline, with a minimum of 60 per cent marks and must have completed at least one course in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Operations Research at the undergraduate level. A relaxation of 5 per cent marks or its equivalent grade may be granted to candidates from SC, ST, OBC-NCL, differently-abled, and EWS categories.

For the admission process, candidates will be selected based on their Common Admission Test (CAT) score, followed by a personal interview. The interview will assess various factors, including the candidate's educational background, domain-specific knowledge, suitability for the programme, overall personality, and basic knowledge and aptitude for the course. The selection process will assign 70 per cent weightage to the CAT score, while the personal interview will carry 30 per cent of the total weightage.

As per the guidelines provided by the University Grants Commission (UGC) for dual degree programmes in collaboration with foreign institutions, candidates are required to apply separately to both IP University and AGH University.
