Jharkhand Academic Council Releases Schedule for Class 10 and 12 Board Exams

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced the postponement of the Class 8 and 9 board exams for 2025. According to a notice dated January 26 on the official website, the Class 8 exams, originally scheduled for January 28, and the Class 9 exams, planned for January 29 and 30, have been deferred due to unavoidable reasons. The board has stated that the revised dates for these exams will be announced later.

In addition, JAC has already released the date sheet for the Class 10 and 12 exams. These exams will commence on February 11 and conclude on March 3. The Class 10 exams will begin with IIT and other vocational subjects, while the Class 12 exams will start with vocational subjects. As per the official notification, the duration of both the Class 10 and 12 board exams in 2025 will be 3 hours and 15 minutes. Furthermore, JAC has instructed exam officials to ensure the safe storage of all examination-related materials provided by the council.

This postponement and the announcement of revised dates aim to provide clarity and ensure students are well-prepared for their board exams, maintaining the integrity and smooth conduct of the examination process.
