New Deadline Announced: Jamia Millia Islamia Extends Admission for Distance Education

This is excellent news for students looking to complete their education through distance and online modes, as The Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) of Jamia Millia Islamia has extended the deadline to September 7 for applications for the 2024–25 academic year. Verification of applicants' documents will take place from September 17 to September 27. It is recommended that applicants should check their email for information regarding this process.

Before completing the online application it is important to read the brochure and verify the eligibility of the students. The BEd program notice will be made later for undergraduate and graduate programs that need admission tests. The postponed MBA admission exam is now scheduled for September 22 on the JMI campus. A week before the exam date, candidates who have registered for the MBA entrance exam can download their admit cards from the examination portal. It is important to note that the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode is currently the sole way in which the MBA, MA in Human Resource Management, MA in Geography, MA in Islamic Studies, BCIBF, and PGDGI programs are offered.

A wide variety of programs are available through Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI)'s Center for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) such as Education, English, Geography, Hindi, History, Human Resource Management, Islamic Studies, Political Science, Public Administration, Sociology, Urdu, and M.Com. are among the postgraduate degrees. The BBA, BCIBF, B.Com, and B.A. (General) are offered as undergraduate programs. In addition, CDOE offers several PG Diploma, Diploma, and Certificate programs, with awards based on merit from qualifying exams, including PGDGC, PGDGI, DECCE, CCHNT, and CIT.
