Sahitya Sarita Festival Lights Up Ahmedabad Unfolding its Cultural Tapestry

Celebrating Literature, Art, and Culture at L.D. College of Engineering

Ahmedabad geared up for yet another literature and art festival as the L.D. College of Engineering hosted the much-anticipated Sahitya Sarita Fest from the 16th to the 18th of February. The set came to life with vibrant hues of literature and art as the much-anticipated Sahitya Sarita Festival kicked off at L.D. College of Engineering. This three-day extravaganza promised a captivating blend of talks, sessions, competitions, performances, and more, open to all eager participants.

Embracing the rich tapestry of literature, art, and culture, the festival aimed to spark creativity, provide a platform for expression, and kindle curiosity among attendees, particularly the youth. The attendees immersed themselves in a diverse range of activities, curated to celebrate the essence of Gujarati literature and beyond.

The festival served as a convergence point for luminaries and enthusiasts from various literary, artistic, and media backgrounds. Renowned poet Rajesh Vyas, folk and Sufi singer Hardik Dave, along with Jayendrasingh Jadav, graced the inauguration ceremony on the 16th of February.

Throughout the event, attendees had the opportunity to engage with field experts through enlightening sessions spanning literature, radio, film, and more. Additionally, an array of competitions awaited participants, including quiz contests, poetry writing, musical marathons, photography, and art fusion, ensuring something for every creative soul.

The festival culminated on the 18th of February with a mesmerizing folk night featuring singer Amit Dhorda and his ensemble. While most events were open to all, registration was required for the workshop on Effective Communication.
