Editor’s Note:
An important turning point in Indian medical education may be reached with the acceptance of 113 medical institutions which will increase the blooming demand for health services that has risen with the growing population. These new universities will assist in addressing the severe lack of medical professionals in many regions of the nation. Although Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh have more residents, opening of new medical colleges will surely benefit them more but other states stand to gain from this increase as well.
The dispersion of newly established medical colleges over different areas guarantees a more equitable and balanced growth of the infrastructure supporting medical education. Skoobuzz hopes that these new medical colleges will establish new records of excellence in the healthcare system of India.
