Narayana Group of Schools to Ignite Creativity and Competition at the ‘World Records Festival

Join the Excitement: Narayana Schools Ready for a Record-Breaking Extravaganza on September 22

The Narayana Group of Schools is thrilled to present the “Narayana World Records Festival 2024” which will feature two concurrent efforts to break world records in Chennai and Madurai on September 22. 8,100 kids from pre-primary to Class V at 19 branches in Chennai and one in Madurai will participate in the event, which includes a spellathon and a marathon recitation of the Thirukkural. The record attempts for this festival will be certified by 65 adjudicators from the Elite World Records Academy, the India Records Academy, and the Tamilan Book of Records.

Out of 8,100 participating students almost  7,700 from pre-primary to Class V will participate in the ‘longest Thirukkural recitation marathon,’ reciting the Thirukkural across 42 venues simultaneously. In addition to this, around 500 students from classes 1 to V will take part in the Spellathon at three different locations; they are expected to spell at least 50 words within a four-minute timeframe dictated by the adjudicators.

The spellathon aimed to enhance students’ linguistic skills and develop their analytical abilities. A citation ceremony is scheduled for September 28 and 29 at the Anna Centenary Auditorium in Chennai, organized by the School’s Director, Ponguru Sharani, and the Academic Head, K. Lakshmi Samyuktha.
