NDVSU's New NRI Quota: A Step Towards Globalizing Veterinary Education

The non-resident Indian (NRI) quota for overseas students has been created by Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University (NDVSU) Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh as a proactive measure to attract international talent and expand its educational horizons. Approved by the Academic Council of the university, this new procedure will be applied via a single window system. This implies that there won't be any difficulties for pupils applying. The university's three government veterinary colleges would be subject to the NRI quota as well. 34 slots in the Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Bachelor of Fisheries Science programs are set aside expressly for NRIs and international students. These positions are all located in government veterinary schools.

Applications must be submitted by August 31st. By this date, interested students must submit their applications. The Veterinary College in Jabalpur, the Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry College in Mahu, and Rewa College all have seats available. The procedure guarantees that students can easily obtain a spot. The Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary University Registrar, Dr Shrikant Joshi, has guaranteed that the application process will be expedited via the single window system. Additionally, Dr. Joshi stated that international students now have more options for admission as the Academic Council opted to incorporate NRI and foreign quota seats in the admissions process.
