The institutes of Delhi and Bengaluru are well-equipped to provide training through placement-linked skill training programs, covering sectors such as IT, Electronics, and Aviation, offering courses like AWS Cloud Computing, Junior Full Stack Developer, and Cyber Security. In the future students benefit from courses in Aviation and Aerospace, a duration of 3 to 6 months which are designed to provide sustainable livelihood opportunities for the trained and certified youth. Tata Community Initiatives Trust (TCIT) was established in 2014 to address national challenges. Tata STRIVE, an initiative under TCIT, focuses on equipping India’s youth, particularly those aged 18-35 from disadvantaged communities, with the skills needed for employment and entrepreneurship. It has positively impacted more than 1.7 million lives through various skilling programs specifically in Delhi NCR and Karnataka region.
The new Airbus-Tata STRIVE centers in Delhi and Bengaluru are set to benefit youth from economically underprivileged backgrounds, with plans to upskill over 900 individuals in the next three years. With state-of-the-art facilities and future expansion plans, these institutes aim to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals. The success of the institute is expected to contribute to the creation of a large skilled workforce, which will encourage the industrial community to establish a presence in the region. This, in turn, will help address the challenge of unemployment.
