RBSE 2024 Exam Results Showcase Strong Performances and Educational Progress in Rajasthan

RBSE 2025 Board Exams to Commence on March 6th, Datesheet Awaited

The Rajasthan Board of School Education (RBSE) has announced that the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams for 2025 will begin on March 6. The full datesheet has not yet been released. It will be made available on the official website, rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. The Class 12 exams will cover three streams: arts, commerce, and science.

Last year, the RBSE Class 10 and Class 12 exams were conducted from February 15 to April 10, in two shifts. The first shift ran from 9 am to 12:15 pm, while the second shift took place between 12:45 pm and 4 pm. Over 10 lakh students are expected to appear for the Rajasthan Board Class 10 and Class 12 exams. In 2024, the Class 10 pass percentage for the RBSE exams was reported to be 93.04%. The pass percentage for girls was 93.46%, while for boys, it was 92.64%. The RBSE 2024 Class 10 topper, Gudiya Meena from Dausa district, achieved an overall pass percentage of 95.17% and received distinction marks in all subjects.

For Class 12, the RBSE reported a passing percentage of 98.95% for commerce students, 96.88% for arts students, and 97.75% for science students. Additionally, the Rajasthan State Open School (RSOS) celebrated the success of over 200 female students who qualified for their Class 10 exams in February, as part of Project Pragati, in collaboration with Educate Girls. In Rajasthan, 5.5% of girls aged 11-14 and 12.3% of girls aged 15-16 drop out of school due to menstruation-related issues, often caused by inadequate sanitation and menstrual hygiene facilities. Project Pragati addresses this by offering a second chance for these girls and young women to complete their 10th-grade education through open school systems.

In conclusion, the overall performance in the Rajasthan Board Class 10 exams for 2024 was highly impressive, with a pass percentage of 93.04%. This reflects the hard work and dedication of the students. Additionally, the results highlight strong performances across all streams in Class 12 and the open school system, marking significant achievements. Notably, the progress in female education is commendable, underscoring the positive strides made in the state's educational landscape.
