RPSC RAS Prelims Exam 2024 Scheduled for February 2: Important Details for Candidates

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) is responsible for conducting various examinations to recruit candidates for state government services. One of the prominent exams conducted by RPSC is the Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) Preliminary Examination. More than 2 lakh candidates will appear for the preliminary examination for 2,129 posts in different services.

RPSC recently announced that the 2024 RAS Prelims Admit Cards will be released on January 30. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official RPSC website, rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in, by entering their registration number and roll number. The 2024 RAS Prelims Exam is scheduled to take place on February 2, from noon to 3:00 p.m. The admit cards will be available on both the SSO portal and the official RPSC website, although the notification did not specify the exact time of release for the hall tickets.

The preliminary examination will consist of a single objective-type paper, carrying a maximum of 200 marks, set at the Bachelor's degree level. The exam will have a duration of three hours and will serve as a screening test, with only those candidates who qualify to proceed to the main examination. After the main exam, the commission will conduct an interview or personality test. The official notice indicated that candidates would be allowed entry to the examination centre 60 minutes before the exam's start. It is recommended that candidates arrive early to allow ample time for identification and security checks.
