Ryan International School Vasant Kunj Hosts Inspiring MUN Event

Ryan International School Vasant Kunj recently hosted an engaging and impactful Intra-School Model United Nations (MUN) conference. More than 70 students, well-experienced delegates, and enthusiastic newcomers from around the world came together to express their insightful approaches to handling pressing world issues. This two-day conference showcased the innovative ideas of the emerging leaders who refined their power of negotiations and presented their views on the global stage. This MUN conference highlighted the energetic potential of the young generation who had unwavering determination and a commitment to passionately create a better world.

MUN is an educational simulation which is designed specifically for young learners where they can learn diplomacy, international relations, and the workings of the United Nations which provides them with an experience in global governance. It teaches participants to speak on various topics, debate on key issues, and write to get new perspectives, as well as to think critically about complex global issues, and teamwork to learn and share the work to maximize the efforts, and most importantly leadership qualities. Nowadays few schools also offer Model UN as a class extracurricular activity where students develop a deeper sense of understanding current world problems and come up with innovative solutions.
