Investment In Youth: World-class Skill Development Centers to Empower Telangana's Youth.

Revolutionising the Education Telangana Welcomes 10 prestigious colleges to Open Skill Development centers.

The state government of Telangana has unveiled a pioneering project that is intended to improve employability and strengthen the state's educational infrastructure. Ten prestigious colleges from around the world are planning to open Skill Development Centers in different Telangana districts. The IT and Industries Minister is leading this large-scale effort, which is a critical step in fusing local skill-building programs with international academic expertise.
 

The government of Telangana is trying to upskill youngsters and ten globally recognized universities have offered to build ₹300 crore worth of skill development centers throughout the state. In a post on platform X (formerly Twitter), IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu said he met with officials of Startup Runway and the International Startup Foundation on 16 July. He further said, "These two organizations that support start-ups globally have training agreements with ten prestigious skill universities, like London Business School in the United Kingdom and the University of Texas in America."One of the main priorities of the new Congress government that came to power in the State more than eight months ago has been upskilling or imparting skills to the youth.

The Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s government chose to establish a skilled university in Hyderabad in response to this strain. The Chief Minister and a handful of his colleagues went to a location near the IT Hub in Gachibowli. In a related development, the government recently upgraded ITIs through an arrangement with the Tata Group.
This program was presented to provide specialized training in cutting-edge technology and industry-relevant skills to close the gap between traditional education and industrial requirements. With their distinct curricula and training approaches, each of the participating universities promises to enhance Telangana's educational environment with a wealth of knowledge and skill in their respective sectors.
