UHCS Embraces Holistic Education with New Initiatives in Patriotism, Cultural Heritage, and Teacher Training

The University of Hyderabad Campus School (UHCS) participated in significant activities to advance the intellectual and physical growth of its students. Their participation in the Hyderabad District Yogasana Sports Association's 5th District Level Yogasana Championship was a noteworthy accomplishment. Among 200–250 competitors, Class 7 Vaishnavi took home the silver medal, and Class 6 M. Chandana Sri took home the bronze for their remarkable efforts in the Artistic Pair Yoga Asana competition.

UHCS is proud of these achievements as the students are advancing to the state-level championship and continue their excellence there. To promote nationalism among students and celebrate Independence Day, the School organized the Har Ghar Tiranga event. Students enthusiastically sing patriotic slogans during the event, demonstrating their abiding love and dedication to the nation's ideals.

Furthermore, schools have made a concerted effort to enhance the abilities of educators by offering teaching professionals an in-service training program that included modern teaching techniques such as integrated learning, continuous assessment, and marking systems, and it was based on the National Education Policy (NEP). This initiative will help teachers to better understand the latest developments in the educational landscape.

In addition, the school observed Sanskrit Basha Dinotsav, an admirable endeavor to honor one of the historical languages of India. Students participated fully in numerous activities such as raising slogans, singing songs, dancing, and reading poetry, this event was dedicated to protecting and valuing our unique cultural legacy by highlighting the importance of Sanskrit preservation and promotion. The school is committed to the overall development of its students, emphasizing academic and cultural excellence, fostering a sense of patriotism, and providing educators with the best resources possible to shape the minds of future generations.
