DePaul University in Chicago offers over 175 graduate programs that do not require GRE scores, easing the application process for international students. US News reports that Jeremy Mixell, DePaul's international admissions director, stated that while GRE scores are encouraged for some programs, waivers are available for students with strong academic backgrounds. Some MBA programs, like those at the University of Redlands and the University of Delaware, offer GMAT waivers for candidates with relevant work experience or a professional degree from a US institution. This allows these schools to focus on other aspects of a student’s application, such as academic performance and professional experience, rather than relying on test scores.
