Amherst College Announces Vacancy for Visiting Assistant Professor in Legal Studies

The Department of Law, Jurisprudence, and Social Thought at Amherst College invites applications for a full-time, three-year visiting assistant professor position for the 2025-2028 academic years. The role involves teaching two courses per semester and supervising senior honours projects. Applicants with training in the humanities, social sciences, or law particularly in areas such as global legality, post-colonial legality, law and science, and legal theory are encouraged to apply. A Ph.D. or J.D. is required for the position.
