Bhavan’s College Unveils MSEED, Aiming to Shape India's Creative Future
MSEED Launches in Mumbai, Offering Degrees in Events, Media, and Design

In an exciting new development, Bhavan’s College, a prominent commerce institution in Mumbai, has launched the Management School of Events, Entertainment, and Design (MSEED) in Andheri West. This initiative aims to cultivate the next generation of creative business leaders. MSEED is set to offer Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in events, media, and design, all approved by Mumbai University. The school will also provide advanced PG Diplomas in areas such as events, entertainment, communication, and fashion business management. Additionally, postgraduate students will have the opportunity to pursue a dual MBA degree from UniMarconi University of Rome. According to the release, all programs are scheduled to begin in July 2025.
Deepak Chaudhary, a prominent figure in the event industry and founder of India’s leading event school and EVA Live, has been appointed as the Managing Director of MSEED. Prof. Ujjwal K. Chowdhury, a respected media academician and former Dean at Symbiosis, Amity, Pearl Academy, and Whistling Woods, serves as the Director General. The leadership team includes Joint MD Vinod Janardhan, Director Jimmy Choudhary, Executive Director Jateen Rajput, and media entrepreneurs Chirag Shah and Mustafa Rangoonwala.
During his inaugural address, Deepak Chaudhary highlighted that a great institute requires strong infrastructure, recognition, and an industry-driven learning ecosystem. He stated that Bhavan’s College provides all three, positioning MSEED to make a significant contribution to India’s creative soft power. The Principal of Bhavan’s College, Zarine Bathena, expressed her enthusiasm for the launch of MSEED, welcoming it as the latest addition to the college's academic ecosystem. She hoped that MSEED would follow in the footsteps of successful institutions like SP Jain Management School and Sardar Patel Institute of Technology.
Ashish Kulkarni emphasised the economic importance of the events and experiential marketing industry, suggesting that its potential turnover could exceed that of television and cinema when combined with animation and gaming-based entertainment. MSEED also plans to launch a nationwide campaign to raise awareness about the creative business landscape in events, media, and design, with the aim of shaping the future of the industry through education and innovation.MSEED establishment is poised to make a significant impact on the events, entertainment, and design industries by nurturing future creative business leaders.
