CBSE Announces Opportunities for 212 Posts Across Multiple Locations

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started recruitment for 212 Superintendent and Junior Assistant posts. Eligible Indian citizens can apply online through the official website, cbse.nic.in, by January 31. The vacancies have been announced for Superintendent (Post Code 10/24) and Junior Assistant (Post Code 11/24). The Superintendent role has 142 vacancies, including 21 for SC, 10 for ST, 38 for OBC NCL, 14 for EWS, 59 for UR, and 6 for PwBD. The Junior Assistant role offers 70 vacancies, with 9 for SC, 9 for ST, 34 for OBC NCL, 13 for EWS, 5 for UR, 2 for PwBD, and 7 for ESM. Vacancies may change, as per the notification.

To be eligible for the Superintendent position at CBSE, candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree and computer skills, including Windows, internet usage, MS Office and database handling. For the Junior Assistant role, candidates must have a Class 12 qualification and a typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi, which corresponds to 10500 KDPH and 9000 KDPH, respectively, based on an average of 5 key depressions for each word. The age limit for the Superintendent position is up to 30 years, while for Junior Assistant, it is between 18 and 27 years.

According to the CBSE notification, the application fee for unreserved candidates is Rs 800, while candidates from SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, Women, and Departmental categories are exempt from paying the fee. Additionally,  all selected candidates will be posted to one of the CBSE offices, including regional offices and the Centre of Excellence/ACCPD in Raebareli. Currently, the regional offices are located in Ajmer, Allahabad, Bhubaneshwar, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Chennai, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Delhi, Dubai, Guwahati, Noida, Patna, Panchkula, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, Vijayawada, and ACCPD Raebareli.
