High Pass Rates Continue as CISCE Ensures Seamless Result Access for Students

2025 CISCE Results: ISC Exams Concluded April 5, ICSE on March 27

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) announced the results for the 2025 ISC (Class 12) and ICSE (Class 10) board examinations, as confirmed by its chief executive and secretary, Joseph Emmanuel. The declaration marked a significant milestone for students who had been eagerly anticipating their board examination results. It was reported that the results could also be accessed on Digilocker.gov.in..

According to CISCE, the ISC examinations were conducted between February 13 and April 5, while the ICSE examinations took place from February 18 to March 27. Students would receive digital marksheets containing key details such as their name, school, roll number, subjects, marks, and result status. They were advised to verify the accuracy of these details and to promptly report any errors to their respective school authorities.

For accessing the 2025 results, CISCE confirmed that students could visit the official websites—cisce.org or results.cisce.org. They were required to log in using their admit card number, date of birth, and captcha code. CISCE informed students that they needed to select the appropriate tab, either "ISC Result 2025" or "ICSE Result 2025," and enter details such as their course, UID, index number, and captcha code. Upon submission, the results would appear on the screen, and students were encouraged to use the "Print Result" option to save a copy for future reference.

In addition to online access, the CISCE clarified that students could check their results via SMS. To do so, they were instructed to type "ISC_<Unique ID>" for ISC results or "ICSE_<Unique ID>" for ICSE results and send the message to 09248082883. Students would then receive their subject-wise marks through an SMS notification. CISCE provided an overview of previous results as well. For the 2024 academic year, the ICSE Class 10 exams ended on March 28, and the results were announced on May 6, showing a 99.47% pass rate. It was noted that out of 2,695 participating schools, 82.48% (2,223 schools) achieved a 100% pass rate.

For 2023, the ICSE exams concluded on March 29, with results declared on May 14. Similarly, recent ISC results highlighted impressive pass rates. In 2024, the overall pass rate was 99.47%, with girls achieving 99.65% and boys 99.31%. In 2023, the pass rate was 98.94%, with girls at 99.21% and boys at 98.71%.
