Last Chance to Apply: CLAT 2025 Registration Open Until October 22

CLAT provides a pathway to pursue a law degree from top-notch institutions. Every year, more than 60,000 applicants participate in the CLAT exam across the country. Depending on their performance, candidates are shortlisted by 27 National Law Universities, where they can pursue undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.

Recently, the Consortium of National Law Universities announced an extension of the CLAT 2025 registration date, allowing candidates to apply until October 22, 2024. Applications are accepted online through the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. According to the official notice, the deadline for submitting online applications for both U.G. and P.G. the program is set for December 1, 2024, with the exam taking place offline in a single shift from 2 PM to 4 PM.

Eligibility Criteria for CLAT:

UG Program: Candidates must have completed higher secondary or an equivalent examination with at least 45% marks or an equivalent grade. Students appearing for the qualifying examination in March/April 2025 are also eligible to apply.

PG Program: Candidates should hold an LLB degree or an equivalent qualification with a minimum of 50% marks or its equivalent grade. Those appearing for the qualifying examination in April/May 2025 can also submit their applications.

The application fee for both UG and PG programs for CLAT 2025 is ₹4000 for all candidates, while SC/ST/PwD/BPL candidates need to pay ₹3500. This payment must be made online.

To fill out the CLAT 2025 application form, candidates must visit the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in and click on the registration link available on the home page. After entering the required registration details and submitting them, candidates can log in to their accounts. They should then fill out the application form and proceed to pay the application fee. Once completed, candidates need to click on submit and download the application page. It is advisable to keep a hard copy of the application for future reference.
