Future Attorneys Be Ready : Registration Started For CLAT 2025, Apply Before 15th October

With only 5.5 % success ratio, more than 1 lakh students appear for the CLAT exam every year, as the prominent National  Law Universities (NLUs) in India, which provide top-notch education and first-rate facilities, can only be accessed through the CLAT exam. Having graduated from an NLU, students have access to a wide range of job options in corporate law, litigation, judicial services, and other fields because leading law firms and organisations highly value these institutions. 

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2025) undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) registration period has begun, by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). Candidates  who want to appear for the Law Entrance Exam can apply from the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in. 22 National Law Universities (NLUs) in India offer esteemed undergraduate and graduate legal programs, with admissions determined by a national entrance exam. October 15 is the last day to register for CLAT 2025 and interested candidates are advised to pay the application fees by then. For both UG and PG programmes, the online application cost is Rs 4000 for general candidates and Rs 3500 for those from SC, ST, PwD, and BPL categories. In any event, the application fees are not returnable and are not refundable.

Registration for CLAT 2025: How to Apply

To apply for CLAT 2025 candidates have to visit official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in and have to select the “Register” button given at the bottom of the log-in window on the homepage. Once students have registered for log-in then need to complete the information and sign up for the exam. They need to enter the required information to fill the registration form, upload the required documents, which should include a recent front-facing photo, the candidate's signature, any necessary SC, ST, or OBC certificates, and any applicable PwD or BPL certificates. These files must only be in PDF format. Save the confirmation page for future use and click the submit button to complete the form.

Tentative Exam Date:

The offline admission exam is anticipated to take place on December 1, 2024.

CLAT 2025 is the entrance exam for admissions to the five-year integrated LLB and LLM programs at participating universities for the academic years 2025-2030.
