Application Process Begins for CUET Register to Secure Admission in Top Institutions

The Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG) exams have rapidly gained importance as a crucial gateway for candidates aspiring to pursue postgraduate programs at central universities and other prestigious institutions in India. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the application forms for the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2025. Candidates wishing to pursue postgraduate programs at central universities and other participating institutions can register online at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG/. The application window opened on January 2 and will remain open until February 1, 2025.

Candidates can make corrections to their CUET PG 2025 application forms between February 3 and 5. The exams, offering 157 subjects, will be held online from March 13 to 31 across 312 cities, including 27 international locations. In 2024, the NTA reported that CUET PG attracted 4,62,603 unique registered candidates, with a total of 7,68,414 registrations across all papers. Of these, 5,77,400 candidates appeared for the test. The exam was conducted between March 11-23, followed by sessions on March 27-28, across 572 centres in 262 cities, including nine international locations: Manama, Dubai, Kathmandu, Muscat, Riyadh, Ottawa, Abu Dhabi, Vienna, and Qatar.

In 2023, 5,39,776 out of 8,77,492 registered candidates appeared for the CUET PG exam. In its debut edition in 2022, 3,34,997 candidates appeared from a total of 6,07,648 registrations. With the National Testing Agency (NTA) officially releasing the application forms for CUET PG 2025, the increasing number of registrations and participation over the years highlights the growing significance of this examination.
