DPSI Delegation of 43 Students Achieves Outstanding Results in Academic Challenges

Talented DPSI Students Showcased their Academic Excellence Globally

DPS International (DPSI) proudly announced the impressive achievements of its students at the World Scholar’s Cup Global Round 2024, held in Bangkok from September 5 to 12. More than 1500 scholars from around the world showcased their knowledge, creativity, and teamwork in various academic challenges, including Team Debates, Collaborative Writing, and the Scholar’s Bowl.

A 43-student delegation of DPSI participated in both Junior and Senior Divisions where they competed against some of the brightest minds globally and performed outstandingly in key events, which demonstrated the school’s commitment to academic excellence and holistic development.

In the Junior Division, the DPSI teams achieved remarkable results, with Shivanjali Awasthi, Raina Khatri, and Anahita Bajaj securing 2nd place in the Team Debate event, while Tara Webster, Suyash Bansal, and Romir Gupta finished 7th in the same category. Additionally, Anahita Bajaj claimed 6th place in the Individual Debate category.

The Senior Division students achieved remarkable success as Rishabh Iyer Kochhar secured an impressive 12th place in the Individual Debate category, while the team of TM Sahaana, Aajuni Kaur, and Bhavya Bansal placed 9th in Collaborative Writing. The Head of School at DPS International, Ms. Rima Singh, praised the students for their outstanding achievements, World Scholar’s Cup success reflects students’ dedication, intelligence, and critical thinking skills in a global context. She expressed immense pride in their accomplishments and their representation of DPS International on such a prestigious platform.
