IIM Bangalore Placements 2024: Students receive job offers from 163 firms, 516 students placed

Students Placed Amidst Tough Job Market, Reflecting Institute's Resilience and Excellence

Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM) stood out in its final placements week despite the tough job market scenario by ending their final placements of PGP-BA and PGP for the class of 2024 on February 7, 2024, securing jobs at top companies worldwide. 

Impressively, a total of 516 students are placed, holding job offers from 163 companies, out of which 487 will begin their career journey in India while 29 students are placed abroad in Infosys Consulting, Strategy& Middle East, Jindal Shadeed, TransformationX, EY Parthenon Singapore, JP Morgan Chase London, Health City Cayman Islands, Fast Retailing, Japan and Landmark Group, Middle East.

Despite the current market scenario, the median annual salary of the job offer received by students stood at INR 32.5 lakhs showing the high caliber and talent nurtured by the premier institution and the trust shown by the companies towards this institute. The chairperson, Prof Ganesh N Prabhu of IIM also talked about his gratitude towards Accenture for keeping confidence in IIM and giving 58 offers across its three units – Global Networks, India Markets Unit, and Data & AI. 

This was an overall success of IIM, Bangalore highlighting the institute's commitment and dedication to preparing future leaders and professionals, focusing on making them equipped to succeed in their respective career fields both in India and abroad.
