GATE 2025 Application Process Simplified: Step-by-Step Guide for Candidates

Here is good news for all the GATE aspirants, the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee has extended the registration deadline for GATE 2025. Candidates who are looking to register for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2025, can find the direct link on the official IIT GATE website at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.The closing date for regular online registration for GATE 2025 has been extended to 11:59 PM on October 3, 2024, due to numerous requests from applicants without any late fees.

Application Procedure:

To apply for the GATE 2025 candidates have to visit the official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in. and click the GATE 2025 registration link, by this they will be navigated to the new page to enter registration details. 
After submitting the information students have to fill out the application form and need to upload all required documents. Later on, they have to pay the application fee and download the confirmation page. Students need to keep a hard copy of the filled application form for future reference.

Exam Schedule: 

GATE 2025 is scheduled to take place on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, with exams held in two sessions each day morning and afternoon. The test will feature 30 papers, all conducted in English and designed as objective-type questions.

Exam Fee:

The application fee for GATE 2025 is ₹900 for candidates in the Female/ST/SC/PwD categories for each test paper during the regular application period. For all other candidates, the fee is ₹1800 per test paper. 
Payments must be made online through net banking, debit card, credit card, UPI, or other available methods. For further details, candidates are encouraged to visit the official IIT GATE website.
