NTA Releases JEE Main 2025 January Session Results, Reflecting the High Achievers and Broad Participation

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the results for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains January Session 2025 Paper 2. Candidates who appeared for the JEE Main 2025 BArch/BPlanning examination can now access their results on the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. This year, a total of 18,596 candidates participated in Paper 2B (B.Planning), with a diverse representation, including 8,132 female and 10,464 male candidates.

The JEE Main 2025 examination was conducted in 12 cities outside India, including Manama, Doha City, Dubai, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore, Kuwait, Kathmandu, Abu Dhabi, Lagos, and Munich. The Session 1 exam took place on January 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, and 30. Candidates interested in applying for Session 2 were informed that the last date to apply is February 25 through the official website. The JEE Mains Session 2 exam is scheduled to be held from April 1 to April 8, as per the NTA's announcement.

The category-wise distribution of candidates includes 5,733 from the General category, 2,290 from the EWS category, 2,535 from the SC category, 1,018 from the ST category, and 7,020 from the OBC category. Additionally, 98 candidates were from the PwBD category. These results mark an important milestone for the aspirants as they take the next steps in their academic and professional journeys. To check their results, candidates needed to visit the official JEE Main website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Once there, they had to navigate to the JEE Main 2025 Paper 2 result link prominently displayed on the homepage. By entering their JEE Main application number, date of birth, and the displayed security pin, candidates could quickly view their scorecards. It was highly recommended to download the scorecard and print a copy for future reference, ensuring they have a tangible record of their hard-earned achievements.

The results will display the scores for both the BArch and BPlanning papers. According to the announcement, Patne Neel Sandesh from Maharashtra topped the BArch paper, while Sunidhi Singh emerged as the topper in BPlanning. The NTA scores are normalized across multiple sessions, ensuring that the relative performance of all candidates in each session is accurately reflected. In an impressive display of academic excellence, the JEE Main 2025 January Session has announced its top performers. For Paper 2A (B.Arch), the spotlight shines on Siddhi Bambal from Maharashtra, who has achieved an outstanding NTA score of 99.9977347, securing her position as the female topper. In Paper 2B (B.Planning), the accolade of male topper goes to Dhruv Rahul Pathak from Karnataka, with a remarkable NTA score of 99.9946225.

This year's examination saw a robust turnout, with a total of 63,481 candidates registering for the exam. Among them, 30,755 were female candidates and 32,726 were male candidates, showcasing healthy participation from both genders. The category-wise breakdown reveals a diverse representation, with 22,921 candidates from the General category, 6,592 from EWS, 7,779 from SC, 3,555 from ST, and 22,634 from the OBC category. Additionally, 215 candidates were from the PwBD category.

The JEE Main 2025 January Session saw an impressive turnout of candidates for both Paper 2A (B.Arch) and Paper 2B (B.Planning). For Paper 2A (B.Arch), a remarkable 44,144 candidates appeared, showcasing strong participation with 21,808 females and 22,336 males. The diverse category-wise distribution included 15,307 from the General category, 4,754 from EWS, 5,238 from SC, 2,373 from ST, and 16,472 from OBC. Additionally, 160 candidates appeared under the PwBD category, reflecting inclusive participation.

In Paper 2B (B.Planning), a total of 28,335 candidates registered, with 12,343 females and 15,992 males. The category-wise breakdown for these candidates was equally diverse, including 9,569 from the General category, 3,069 from EWS, 3,918 from SC, 1,652 from ST, and 10,127 from OBC. Additionally, 131 candidates were from the PwBD category, further emphasizing the inclusive nature of this examination. The JEE Main 2025 January Session has highlighted an impressive academic performance, with diverse participation and top achievers setting high standards for the future.
