Prepare for JEE Mains 2025: Admit Card, ID Proof, and Other Essential Documents for Candidates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) successfully conducted the JEE Mains 2025 examination for Paper I (BE/BTech) in two shifts on January 29, 2025. The first shift took place from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, while the second shift ran from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The Session 1 examination for JEE Mains 2025 spans multiple dates, with exams held on January 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, and 30. On the final day, January 30, the Architecture and Planning (Paper 2) exam was held in the second shift.

Candidates scheduled for JEE Mains Day 5 (January 30) are advised to arrive at their designated exam centre at the time specified on their admit card. Students are required to bring the following documents to ensure a smooth transition of the examination process.

  1. A printout of the Admit Card along with a Self Declaration downloaded from the NTA website. The printout must be on A4-sized paper and duly filled in.
  2. A passport-sized photograph (same as the one uploaded in the Online Application Form) to be posted on the Attendance Sheet at the exam centre.
  3. An authorized photo ID in original, which must be valid and non-expired. Accepted IDs include a School Identity Card, PAN card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card (with photograph), E Aadhaar with photograph, Ration Card with photograph, Class XII Board Admit Card with photograph, or a Bank Passbook with Photograph.
  4. Candidates who are claiming relaxation under the PwD/PwBD category must bring a PwD/PwBD certificate issued by an authorized medical officer, or a PwD/PwBD Certificate regarding physical limitations in writing as per the guidelines mentioned in the Information Bulletin.
  5. A simple, transparent Ball ballpoint pen for marking answers.

Candidates are reminded to follow all guidelines carefully to ensure their eligibility for the exam.
