The All India Management Association (AIMA) has announced that registrations for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) February 2025 session have begun. The exam will be available in both paper-based test (PBT) and computer-based test (CBT) formats. Candidates are required to visit the official website, mat.aima.in, to fill out the application form. It was mentioned that graduates from any discipline, as well as final-year students of any graduate courses, are eligible to apply for the test. The results are expected to be released on the MAT official portal by the last week of March 2025.
The key dates for MAT 2025 should be carefully noted by the students. The PBT registration deadline is March 2, with the PBT exam scheduled for March 9. For those opting for the CBT, the registration deadline is March 9, and the exam will take place on March 23. The application fee for MAT February is Rs 2,100, and students can choose an additional test mode for an extra fee of Rs 1500.
To complete the exam application process, students are required to provide several documents. These include a valid email ID for communication and updates, a scanned image of their photograph for identification purposes, and a scanned image of their signature. Additionally, students will need to have payment details ready, such as a Credit Card, Debit Card (ATM Card), or Net Banking information, to process the application fee. All these documents are essential for successfully applying. AIMA has announced the introduction of a new section titled Economic and Business Environment for this year's MAT. This section will include questions on current economic topics and technological interventions in businesses. The streamlined MAT consists of 30 questions in each of the five sections, totalling 150 questions to be answered within 120 minutes.
It has been mentioned that the MAT is approved by the Ministry of Education and is recognized by various B-schools across India. These institutions include the School of Business and Management at CHRIST (Deemed to be University, Bengaluru), PSG Institute of Management (Coimbatore), Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship (Kochi), SSN School of Management (Chennai), Dr D Y Patil B School (Pune), Delhi School of Business (VIPS-TC, New Delhi), New Delhi Institute of Management (New Delhi), National Institute of Technology (Kurukshetra), National Institute of Technology (Jalandhar), and Calcutta Business School (Kolkata).
