MBOSE Achieves Milestone as 63,682 Students Appear for SSLC Exams 2025

The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) officially announced the SSLC Class 10 results for 2025 on April 5. According to the board, students who appeared for the exams held between February 10 and February 25 can now check their results on the official website—mbose.in, megresults.nic.in, and mboseresults.in—using their login credentials. Furthermore, to enhance accessibility, education.indianexpress.com is also hosting the results this year.

Officials from MBOSE explained that provisional scorecards could be downloaded from the official portals by entering the required roll number and roll code. However, the original mark sheets will only be available for collection at respective schools a few days after the announcement of results. These scorecards provide crucial information, including the student’s name and subject-wise marks.

In 2025, a total of 63,682 students appeared for the SSLC Class 10 exams, out of which 55,473 students successfully passed, resulting in an impressive overall pass percentage of 87.10%. Comparatively, last year’s results, announced on May 24, recorded a pass percentage of 55.80%, indicating a remarkable improvement in performance. Officials noted that this year’s candidates represented a variety of categories, including regular, non-regular, private, and compartmental students. Among these groups, regular students demonstrated the highest success rate, with over 42,000 candidates clearing the exams.

Additionally, MBOSE highlighted that the Class 10 board exams for 2025 were conducted smoothly, signaling an overall enhancement in academic outcomes across participating schools. Reflecting on previous years, the 2024 Class 10 exams were conducted between March 4 and March 15, with 54,134 students from 679 schools participating. Of these, 30,208 students successfully passed, leading to a modest increase in the pass percentage to 55.80% from 51.93% in 2023. The notable improvement in the 2025 results serves as a testament to the concerted efforts of students, educators, and the MBOSE to elevate academic performance and achieve greater success.
