The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced that the 2025 CUET UG will be conducted entirely as a computer-based test (CBT). This marks a change from the previous year when the exam was held in a hybrid mode, featuring both CBT and pen-and-paper formats. Approximately 13.48 lakh candidates took the exam last year, which was conducted in 379 cities, including 26 cities outside of India, between May 15 and 24.
Following a tumultuous 2024, marked by controversies and allegations of question paper leaks in exams like NEET and CUET, the NTA aims for a smooth conduct of this year's exams. As the CUET PG process is already underway, the NTA is hopeful for a clean administration of the 2025 CUET UG. The NTA's efforts to ensure a seamless examination process reflect its commitment to providing a fair and transparent testing experience for all applicants. Prospective students are encouraged to stay informed and prepared for the upcoming 2025 CUET UG examination.
