1. Science & Technology Undergraduate Scholarship:

This scholarship is designed for outstanding international students from Asian countries (excluding Singapore) and is awarded based on the undergraduate admission application to NUS. The scholarship offers several benefits, including subsidized tuition fees (after the MOE Tuition Grant Subsidy) and compulsory fees. Recipients receive an annual living allowance of $6,000, along with a one-time computer allowance of S$1,750 upon enrollment and a settling-in allowance of $200. 

Additionally, there is an annual accommodation allowance equivalent to the lowest double room rate for on-campus housing. The scholarship also provides a travel allowance to help cover transportation costs for the journey from the student’s home country to Singapore at the start of the program, as well as for the return trip after completing the program.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be citizens of an Asian country or region, excluding Singapore. Students must demonstrate leadership qualities and potential, have outstanding academic results, and have an excellent record of co-curricular activities. Additionally, applicants must be seeking admission to a full-time undergraduate degree program in Computing, Engineering (excluding Infrastructure and Project Management), or Science (excluding Environmental Studies and Pharmacy) at NUS. Applicants who are transferring from local or overseas universities are not eligible for this scholarship.

2. NUS International Undergraduate Scholarship:

This scholarship supports outstanding students from all countries, excluding Singapore. Candidates will be evaluated on the strength of their application for scholarship eligibility. Applicants should demonstrate strong leadership qualities and potential, along with an outstanding record of co-curricular activities. They must have excellent high school results and be applying for admission to a full-time undergraduate degree program at NUS. Candidates who are shortlisted will be notified via email, and the selection interview will take place from January to July. The results of these interviews will be announced by mid-July.

Benefits:

The scholarship offers subsidized tuition fees (after the MOE Tuition Grant Subsidy), an annual living allowance of S$5,800, and a one-time computer allowance of S$1,750 upon enrollment. Recipients also receive an annual accommodation allowance of S$5,000.
