From Samosa Stall to Medical Entrance: Sunny Kumar’s NEET UG Triumph Inspires Many

When you possess a strong sense of determination, you can change your life for the better, this line is exemplified by Sunny Kumar, an 18-year-old samosa seller from Noida, whose extraordinary dedication and perseverance, got him to secure an impressive score of 664 out of 720 on the NEET UG exam. Alakh Pandey of Physics Wallah recently shared an inspiring story on social media about him.

His NEET UG journey was quite challenging as after school he had to work on a samosa stall for almost 5 hours and later study late into the night, a grueling schedule that left no time to rest for him. After completing 12th grade, on his first attempt, he scored 292 marks, and on his second attempt, he cleared NEET with flying colors. After the death of his uncle, his family struggled a lot due to financially but despite all this hardship, by unwavering commitment and resilience, he redefined his destiny. Pandey has praised Sunny’s achievement and has even offered to cover his college expenses.

As we know NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a critical examination for aspiring medical students in India, serving as a standardized test for admission into undergraduate medical (MBBS) and dental (BDS) programs. It ensures a fair and transparent process for selecting candidates for medical education across the country. Clearing this prestigious exam with such an impressive score is a remarkable achievement, as his hard work has set an example for thousands of candidates who are struggling with financial constraints but have dreams of achieving their goals.
