Victory at Thiruthuraipoondi: Wado Ryu Karate School Triumphs in National Championship

Wado Ryu Karate School Students Excel at Karate Championship

National-level karate championship event was held at Thiruthuraipoondi, Thiruvarur district in Tamil Nadu in early February. Several students from Wado Ryu Karate School who participated in the event won trophies in different categories. 

Narendaran S. G won first place in kata, and second in kumite. Mithun Kumar S. won first place in kata and got third place in kumite. A.S. Kumaresh won first prize in kata, A.S. Jashwanthan was placed first in kata, Amrita Udhayakumar won the first prizes in kata and kumite, and Hari Ganesh T.J. was placed second in kata. The students were trained by their teacher, Renshi S. Vikram

The Karate school is at 15, 4th Main Road, Gandhi Nagar, Adyar. Students are trained during weekend classes at various centres: Vidya Mandir school campus, Mylapore, and the Police Headquarters in Rohini  Gardens.
