Students Gain European Academic Pathway Through Aptech and ISM Collaboration

New Aptech-ISM Agreement Provides Direct Entry to German Undergraduate Programmes

Aptech Limited has made a significant advancement in global education accessibility by establishing an academic articulation agreement with Germany’s International School of Management (ISM). This strategic partnership aims to create new pathways for students in emerging markets, providing them with enhanced opportunities to pursue higher education in Europe.

Under the agreement, students who complete Aptech’s Advanced Diploma in Software Engineering (ADSE) programme will be eligible for direct entry into the final year of ISM’s undergraduate programmes in Information Technology and Data Science, facilitated through a credit transfer system. This collaboration not only expands academic horizons for aspiring professionals but also strengthens global mobility, enabling students to gain international exposure and industry-relevant expertise.

The partnership is regarded as a key step in aligning skill-based education with global academic frameworks, particularly benefiting students from Africa and Southeast Asia. Through this initiative, students gain a direct route to European education, internships, and post-study work opportunities. Additionally, graduates will receive an 18-month post-study work visa in Germany, allowing them to acquire valuable job experience and potentially secure permanent residency, subject to immigration regulations.

Sandip Weling, Chief Business Officer and Whole-time Director at Aptech Limited, described the partnership as a major milestone in enhancing access to quality global education. He noted that Aptech had long observed rising demand from international students for academic pathways in Europe. He further emphasised that the agreement not only provides access to a world-class degree but also ensures meaningful career opportunities, marking a significant step towards borderless education.

Similarly, Prof. Dr. Audrey Mehn, Managing Director at the International School of Management, expressed enthusiasm for hosting Aptech students at ISM campuses in Germany. She highlighted the shared commitment of both institutions towards academic excellence, industry relevance, and student success. Commending Aptech’s ADSE programme, she praised its ability to equip students with strong technical and professional skills, which align seamlessly with ISM’s curriculum, reinforcing her confidence in their ability to excel in Germany’s dynamic economy. Through this collaboration, Aptech Limited and ISM continue to strengthen global education accessibility, ensuring that students from emerging markets can leverage international opportunities and develop competitive expertise in their respective fields.
