There is important news for all aspiring teachers as The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on December 1, 2024. The application process has already begun, opening on September 17, and will remain available until October 16.
Candidates can find comprehensive information about the CTET on the official website, ctet.nic.in, where the information bulletin is available. This bulletin includes essential details about the exam, such as the syllabus, languages offered, eligibility criteria, examination fees, test cities, and other important dates. The CTET December 2024 exam will be conducted in 136 cities across the country and will consist of two papers: Paper 1 for Primary Classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 for Secondary Classes 6 to 8.
Application Procedure:
Students must follow these steps to apply for the CTET December 2024. First, they should visit the official CTET website at ctet.nic.in and click on the link titled “Apply for CTET December 2024.” Then, candidates have to register as new users and complete the application form. Following that, they must pay the examination fee and upload the necessary documents. Finally, they should submit the form and download a copy for future reference.
The application fee for candidates in the General and OBC categories is Rs 1,000 for one paper and Rs 1,200 for both papers, while SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates must pay Rs 500 for one paper and Rs 600 for both papers.
