The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Swami Vivekananda University is gearing up to present Concordia 2025, a three-day media extravaganza from March 5 to March 7. Building on the monumental success of Concordia 2024, this year's festival promises to be an even grander affair, showcasing unparalleled creativity, cutting-edge innovation, and the pinnacle of media excellence. Attendees can look forward to an immersive experience filled with engaging events, inspiring workshops, and thought-provoking discussions. Looking back at Concordia 2024, it was a groundbreaking event, bringing together over 40 colleges and universities from West Bengal. It featured prominent media and entertainment figures like Parambrata Chatterjee, Sayoni Ghosh, Pradipta Bhattacharya, and others, whose presence and insights inspired participants to push their creative limits.
In more than 15 dynamic events, students had the opportunity to showcase their talent in areas such as photography, reel-making, documentary filmmaking, media quizzes, blog-writing, lyrics-writing, open mic performances, and more. The grand Ramp Show was highlighted as the main attraction of the fest, captivating the audience with its mesmerizing spectacle. Reflecting on the success of last year’s event, Saurabh Adhikari, Chief Operating Officer of Swami Vivekananda University, praised Concordia 2024 for its flawless coordination and the presence of prominent personalities.
