Cusat Achieves Remarkable Success at National Inter-University Youth Festival

Diya Anna Augustine Secures Second Place in Western Music at Inter-University Festival

In a remarkable display of talent, Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) students achieved outstanding results at the recently concluded National Inter-University Youth Festival, held at Amity University, Noida. Organised by the Association of Indian Universities, the festival showcased the exceptional abilities of students from various institutions across the nation.

Cusat students secured first place in the group song category and second place in the solo category in Western music. Diya Anna Augustine, a third-year student at the School of Legal Studies, continued her streak of success by winning second place in the individual category of Western music, replicating her achievement from the previous edition of the festival. The team's accomplishments were guided by Joseph Linton Daruja, according to a communication from S. Aparna Lakshman, the cultural coordinator of the university.

In the debate competition, Nada Ayesha, a final-year MBA student, and S. S. Nanda Kumar, a third-year student at the School of Engineering, secured third place. Furthermore, Ms Ayesha and D. S. Vishnumaya, a third-year student at the School of Engineering, achieved fourth place in the elocution and classical dance competitions, respectively, as noted in the communication. The stellar performance of Cusat students at the National Inter-University Youth Festival highlights their dedication and excellence in various cultural and academic endeavours.
