IGNOU and VMOU Extend Admission Deadline

Open Universities Provide Flexible Enrollment Options and Direct Admission for the 2024 Session

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and Rajasthan’s Mahavir Open University (VMOU) have prolonged their application deadlines for the upcoming session, providing students with an extended window to enroll in degree and diploma programs from their homes. The admission deadline for IGNOU has been pushed to February 29, 2024. Similarly, Mahavir Open University Kota has also extended its admission deadline for the 2024 session until February 29.

Professor Ravindra Kumar Meena, coordinator of IGNOU Study Center, mentioned that students can enroll in various diploma courses through IGNOU by registering before February 29, 2024. He also highlighted the fee reimbursement benefits available for female students enrolled in any course under IGNOU’s Girls Distance Education Scheme.

Meanwhile, the coordinator of Mahavir Open University announced direct admission based on merit for the SICTE-approved MBA 2-year course, without the need for an entrance examination. This opportunity is open to various categories of individuals, including private businessmen, students, women, and employees of banks, companies, corporations, and government agencies. Additionally, the admission deadline for all certificate and diploma programs at VMOU for the 2024 session has been extended until February 29.

Furthermore, IGNOU has released the results for the December 2023 Term End Exam (TEE), and students can access and download their IGNOU Term End Exam Result 2024 by entering their enrollment number.
