Renowned Artists Take the Stage: Anne Berry and Luis Gispert Deliver Lectures at ISU

Among the featured exhibitions, Drawing Our Community will be on display through May 3 at the Student Art Gallery, located in the Central Illinois Regional Airport (CIRA). Additionally, the much-anticipated 2025 Student Annual Exhibition will be held from April 9 to May 4 at the University Galleries in Uptown Normal. A reception to celebrate the opening of the Student Annual Exhibition is scheduled for April 9, from 4 to 5:30 p.m.

The month will also include two notable Visiting Artist Lectures. On April 15, Anne Berry, director of the School of Design at the University of Illinois Chicago, will deliver a CrossPlatform Graphic Design Lecture at noon at the University Galleries. The following day, on April 16, Luis Gispert will present the Anne and Stephen Matter Artist Lecture at 4 p.m., also at the University Galleries.
