Art of Giving Initiative Inspires Students Through Collaborative Painting Workshop

Art workshops play a vital role in fostering creativity, encouraging collaboration, and providing artists with a platform for self-expression. Reflecting these principles, the KIIT Souvenir Gallery, in partnership with the KIIT School of Fashion Technology, recently hosted a two-day “AOG Painting Workshop” on April 16th and 17th, 2025. The event drew inspiration from the “Art of Giving” initiative, a visionary concept introduced by Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT, KISS, and KIMS, to unite creative minds and emerging artists in exploring and expressing their ideas and emotions through visual art.

Organisers highlighted how the workshop captured the essence of the “Art of Giving,” emphasising values such as generosity, empathy, and the sharing of ideas. Participants actively engaged in translating these principles into art, demonstrating the transformative power of creativity in inspiring positive social change. The event, described as a celebration of compassion and self-expression, witnessed enthusiastic participation from first-year students of the KIIT School of Fashion Technology.
