Link Up Carnival 2024: Loyola School Jamshedpur Emerges Victorious in Grand Event

Sacred Heart Convent School (SHCS) hosted a thrilling school event “Link Up Carnival 2024”, in this exciting event students from 12 different schools were present. With the title "Storica Civilta," this big event included several thrilling competitions and was attended by esteemed guests, such as Sister M. Steffi A.C., principal of SHCS, and Father Vinod Fernandez S.J., principal of Loyola School. Father Vinod Fernandez S.J. gave a thoughtful speech that emphasized the value of ancient civilizations, and Sister M. Steffi A.C. talked about the value of such gatherings in building respect and friendship among students from other schools.

Several onstage and offstage events took place after the opening ceremony, including the Model United Nations Delegate Assembramento where students can assume the roles of international diplomats, discussing global issues through debates, which provided them with realistic experiences of Un proceedings, the Extempore Event Shipwreck which provided the student's ability to think on spot and communicate effectively, the Comic Making Seeking Herge in this event participants were tasked with blending narrative creativity with artistic flair that produced vibrant comic works. The Clay Sculpting Argil Hew provided a hands-on opportunity for students to work with clay, allowing them to translate their artistic visions into tangible sculptures, and the 3-D Model Designing Final Frontier allowed students to use advanced software to create intricate 3D models.

Following intense competition, Carmel Junior College and St. Mary's English High School secured the first and second runners-up spots, respectively, with Loyola School emerging as the overall winners. In addition to ensuring the carnival's success, students and faculty’s tenacity and passion demonstrated the extraordinary potential and spirit of young students. After a lively closing ceremony that honored all participants and celebrated the victors, Link Up Carnival 2024 came to an end, leaving everyone eager for the next big celebration.
