India’s Top Robotics Talents Set to Compete in Mumbai at MakeX World Championship 2024

Mumbai to Shine as Host for MakeX World Robotics Championship 2024

Mumbai is ready to become the epicenter of innovation and creativity as it is set to host the prestigious MakeX World Robotics Championship from October 19 to 20, 2024. This groundbreaking event will be organized by Makebot and will bring together 1500 young innovators from 300 top-notch schools across India at Kanakia International School Auditorium. Makebot is well known for its Robotics Solutions and also offers STEM education, since 2017, with new-age experiential learning for students from age groups of 6 to 16. It has also customized Robotic lab setups for schools by harnessing the power of AI, Machine learning, and robotics to provide students with a practical learning environment that fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.

Approximately, 100 teams will be selected during national competitions to represent India at world-level competitions held in Vietnam and China later in 2024. This provides Indian students with a unique opportunity to showcase their talents on an international platform and engage with like-minded students. Schools are showing great enthusiasm as 200 schools have already registered for this event as announced by Reema Deshkar, National Coordinator of the event. The National Head of School Engagement for MWRC India, Sameer Sharma showed his excitement about the level of student participation for the event and the potential for these young emerging innovators to make a significant difference in the field of robotics.

Makebot has set up training centers across major cities in India to provide proper hands-on learning experiences for students. Students will get 15 days of training in both online and offline mode to enhance their skills in coding, AI, and robotics. This preparation will boost their confidence and knowledge which is needed to perform well in competition.
