Further contributions came from groups like the Heyward House and PT Services Group, whose volunteers emphasised the symbolic value of each backpack as a gesture of hope and dignity. Parents arrived at the Gold Lot 1A in a steady stream, determined to prepare their children for the academic term ahead. Superintendent Dr Wayne Walters remarked that first impressions were critical, suggesting that when students felt supported and prepared, their confidence entering the classroom was markedly enhanced.

Given the ongoing financial pressures faced by many households, families expressed sincere appreciation for the initiative. One parent commented that the support was invaluable, particularly in light of rising costs.
